Thank you.
They are Hankook K110 Ventus V12 Evos 195/50-15. I got them from Camskill for last summer - very nice to drive and good grip on track day as well. I believe I drove 10k miles and there's plenty of tread left - and I mean plenty. http://camskill.co.uk/m53b0s99p106574/H ... se%3A_71dB
its exactly the right shape size as the old springs ,its probably just theyre heavier sprung which means of course it will take more weight to compress them ,they say there products are better quality than oem will pherhaps in some vehicles heavier sprung is better ,but on this with no engine at the front it means the ride height is on parr with a boeing 747
ive put some weight training weights on the rear springs and the springs dont move at all yet the old front springs do drop a few mm ,theyre just much heavier sprung ,Ive got KYB's uk office number which convieniatly is in warrington ,I will be ringing them on monday to bend then twist there ear
as for adam I did state as I did with you I have the right springs and shocks but untill I put up pictures you didnt believe me !!!!

Think if it was me I would email KYB & send 'em copies of the piccies of the car with their springs on that you put up here
Their reply should be interesting

Ahhh, that's handy for you
Not too far to go & see them if you need to
Not too far from me either
I have some struts with KYB inserts to go on my car when I get round to it
Not KYB springs though; the ones I'll be putting on are Whiteline
At the mo I have the original struts & inserts (with Jamex springs which are much despised by some folk on here )

Springs with a 30mm drop improve how it looks and also do no harm to the handling. There is also no problem with ground clearance, so no reason not to fit shorter springs.
I'm impressed with the height, I thought you had set it up for going off-roading at first!

If you're adamant that they are the correct springs then they simply haven't been fitted properly, all of this settling down and new v old spring talk is not what is going on there, you look to have about 3" of tyre to arch clearance which is not right at all, new springs or not.
I'd take them apart and try to see what you did wrong...... or as has been said, the springs are wrong, it's one or the other.
Difficult to imagine how you could assembly it that badly wrong. Presumably the rear springs are a higher rate than the front - would they fit the front spring platforms?

took it all apart all was built up correct !!! compared old springs to kyb to apex lol and jesus the kyb's are SO ########HARD !!! you cant push them down yet you can with the others ,put the apex springs on as above and now its very low lol
****update*****
old springs are now back on lol if i wanted to keep my front spoiler and front boot floor the apex springs had to come off ,back to the bleeding start hahahahha
at least I can now say I can strip both sides struts off and change the springs and reinstall in about 30-40 mins lol
