You'll soon be very familiar with the fuel stations around here then, at that rate

Try a specialist insurer, the price comparison sites are set up for standard UK cars. See affiliates section.
If you can't see the angle, you're in trouble.

Im defiantly going to phone round a few more.
The comparison site is in the lead at the moment over the specialist by just over £200 .
Hopefully get it down to sub £500 :)

The thing is though, the price comparison site is probably wrong and will offer a substandard level of cover.

Just gone with Graham Sykes. A smidge over £400 . My Brother is with them and doing a claim now and they have been very good with him.

Give these guys a call they were by far the cheapest option last time I renewed, if you tell them you are a member of the forum they may also offer some extra discount.

Got the car back from the garage last night .
Full service , cam belt water pump etc . Garage man also gave it a good once over for any possible problems and apart from one of the tyres being fitted the wrong way round (directional) which he sorted he gave it a glowing bill of health :)
Alarm man is coming on Thursday if its not raining to fit me a cat one then hopefully thats the end of the bills for a while apart from fuel and I can enjoy some motoring.

Heres a few pics in the day . Still crap as it needs a wash and is covered in melted frost . Better than nothing though and at leased you can see its green now :)
