I had this when I replaced the radiator in a NA. It turned out I had not bled the system properly. If it's really foam it was the same as mine. keep bleeding and you may find the cure. Hope it's not anything more vserious.

That sounds really good news to me, I have also replaced the rad and I've had trouble bleeding and was thinking I still had air in the system. Hope this is the issue
If I remember I ran my engine for a few seconds at one point to see what would happen and it flushed a lot of air out. I thought my head gasket had gone it was so bad but it did clear it after I bled it a few more times.

Thats what i did. I found a good technique with the car in the air is to start the engine from cold and let the coolant level rise. This gets a lot of air out.
It isn't a fun thing to do.. and takes a while to get rid of all the air.
