defo no boost pipes off lol, will check tomorow if he car is reading boost, i think it is could it be the £13 boost controller from ebay?

which is why im puting standard boost back on.

am jacking the car up and fitting hose clips to the ones that need it.

...I...what?

sorry haha tired.

im going to take off the £13 boost controller i got off ebay  and put all the standard lines back in see if that makes a diffance to my boosting problem any ideas on my other issue?

Is yours a bleed valve or a proper ball and spring boost controller?

and still stop start syptoms :(

i have error codes

14 ignition signal, i have replaced plugs and leads and the car idles fine
24 intake air temp sensor, could anyone post a picture of where the sensor is and how its connected.
31 vacuum sensor, and again a pic of where this is ?

would any of theses codes make the car run bad etc

thanks for all help

And do they return if you reset the ECU?

IAT sensor is inside the AFM.
Vac. sensor (aka TPS), is on rear bulkhead next to diagnostic port.

All 3 codes could make car run bad.

Not in my workshop right now, but, IIRC, code 51 is related to IDL contact in TPS (throttle position sensor). Have you removed the TPS from the throttle bosy for any reason?

Ahhh, now we get the full story.

There lies your problem.

The TPS needs to be set up carefully with a ohmeter. If you Google, you'll find the procedure.

i now have no fault codes \:D/

but my last issue is..

the car boosts to a point then holds back while spooling, with my foot planted it will eventually fulling boost ??

it fills like the TVIS system isnt opening, pressure builds until its forced open, probably not the reason but fills like it. i have put hose clamps on the hoses for the tvis so no leaks, have run standard lines for turbo/aculator down to the tvis, but its still not working.

can the tvis plate be put in the wrong way round, causing the boost to hold the flaps shut.

any help would be great.

i have a decatted 3" downpipe so cant be the cat, one sensor did break on the coolant neck, a white/grey plug could the be the cause of my issue, im pretty sure its the cold start injector switch.

so the tvis plate can only go on one way, so the pressure from the turbo wouldnt be stopping it opening ?

other ideas mate really want to get this sorted

any

Please explain. There is no physical link between the turbo actuator and the T-VIS. :?

It sounds to me like your cam and ignition timing may well be out.
Can you please explain how you set them up
