Seen a lot of 2s popping up around these parts recently and wondered if anyone has already got any meets organised or would like to start one?

Hi folks I was going to get something organised when the weather warmed up next year.
(Typically it hasn't been too bad so could of had a run recently)

Are any of you members on pistonheads? I've been on a few runs this year with the Norfolk group and had a blast.
Maybe worth joining up with this group, anyone's thoughts?

A MR2 only run would be best I think and also have a few ideas of routes to take fitting a fish and chip stop in or quick pub lunch somewhere nice?

Would be good to see some others about.
I've just moved to RAF Marham
& there's a couple of tubbies round here.

Yea seen a couple on the RAF base and they hold a track day on the airfield twice a year.
It's a good day and the back straight is a mile and a half long! I backed off at 170mph and lost the bottle but potential to test your top speeds there.
It was an absolute deal at
£50 for the day.

I'm thinking everyone is going to pretty busy with the run up to Christmas so new year will properly be better?

Oh I'm booked in at Snetterton on Thursday the 29th Nov for and open pit lane track day and they are only charging
£99 for the day.
Anyone interested?

Well the weathers warmed up, time to get ones fingers out and arrange a meet, perhaps one evening at a pub to discuss the future of any meets

I might be up for a meet, depends when and where, plus I've also got some slight mechanical issues at the moment with oil around my spark plug boots

I would be up for attending an MR2 meet in Norwich/Norfolk.
I live in Norwich and have just bought a MK2 GTi 16 and would love to go to a meet.
when is everyone thinking?

'norwich mr2 owners' a while back actually.
