1993 Rev2 MR2 GT T-Bar N/A (Polybush, Tein, Mongoose) *£1300/£1500*

Post by HughesR1 »

I've decided its not very sensible to have the MR2 as a road car and share an Elise as a track car (Especially as a student lol) Here's the spec:

£1300 if gone this week so I don't have to renew tax.

1993 Rev 2 Mr2 GT T-bar N/A

6 Months MOT
1 Month Tax (Will tax for right price)
Tons of service history (Over £3k in last few years, Clutch, cambelt, headgasket etc)

- 2.0 3SGE engine (156bhp)
- 130K Miles (This is one the best '2s I have driven, still super tight!)
- Fully poly bushed (Superpro bushes)
- Tein Supersteet coilovers
- Tein Pillowball top mounts
- Mongoose slash cut exhaust + Decat (Quiet at low revs)
- OEM wheels (refurbed silver OK condition, tyres 5mm tread)
- Full Geo and cornerweighted at TrackDev near castle combe
- CRN grooved brake discs
- EBC Yellowstuff pads (renewed these about 500 miles ago)
- Apexi induction kit (Also have stock airbox)
- Raybrig headlights (with OSRAM Nightbreaker bulbs, epic)
- Rev 5 rear end conversion (with double brake lights)
- USDM rear sidelights
- Smoked sidelights
- Turbo engine cover (too stop leaky water into engine bay!)
- JDM Parts polybush gear linkages
- MOMO Wheel (MOT Compatible)
- Man in Dandism Matts
- CardHore sleepy eye kit
- Full black leather interior
- Active amp stereo (Kenwood USB, MP3 headunit)
- Thatcham Approved immobiliser

Car weighed in at TrackDev at 1233Kg.
Weight split F/R 43/57 %

I bought this car off IMOC member 'Kitsan' who also put alot of time and effort into lightly restoring it. He did a great job, it drives better than most modern cars. Makes a great A, B road car but would also feel at home on the track. Almost all '2s suffer from a bit of rust but this one has had the sills repaired and waxoil undersealed. The sills could probably be painted gloss but have never bothered me. Has a few stonechips etc but really nothing major, polish's up beautifully. I have adjusted the window angles a few weeks ago and havn't had any leaky T-Bar issues so far. (I Believe Kitsan replaced the seals not long ago).

In the last 1000 miles its had NGK plugs, OEM leads, Shell Helix oil, thermostat and coolant.

They're is probably much more been done to car but I can't think off the top of my head.

I think £1500 is fair given the spec and how well it drives, looks.

Car is located in Telford (and Derby occasionally)

You have done some nice little mods like clear side repeaters and a degrill on the rear. Nice work :thumleft:

Just to confirm all that is said above. This car is very tight. I owned it not all that long ago (6months?) No rattles or knocks and no tbar leak as it has brand new tbar seals. Drove like new and with the work done to the chassis its really only missing a turbo conversion. The paint shines up a beaut and the car had no rust when I owned it and I doubt thats changed in such a short time. The interior is like brand new, although that momo steering wheel is not my cup of tea

Grab an amazing daily drive for peanut money. Only wish I could but my house is almost at complete date.

Best of luck with the sale dude.

Cheers kit :thumleft:

I quite liked the car in the spec I got it from you but its rare you see an OEM looking MR2 as clean as this these days so thought I would do the world a favour

(Couldn't ditch the smoked front lights though, cleans the front up so much!)
