Lol, it would be easier to sell now though :thumleft:

Especially as this has just popped up on the "general" for sale section :thumleft:

That's your car saying "I tried to pass first time, and I did! Please don't sell me!"

We have a couple of imprezas both NA, ones a sports special, total chav, tothers bog standard, good to drive in winter, but a bit unexciting when it comes to spirited driving.

Neighbour has the sports wagon, even worse, at least ours look sporty.

Was tempted by a legacy gtb twin turbo, track prepared, but an estate just doesnt cut it for me.
At least the headlights pop up, will have to work on the rest.

I love going to Japfest, purely because there's always a good few of them there!

I like looking at them, don't think I'd like to own one though.

I know where you folks are coning from, I only get to do about 2000 miles a year in my 2 and the more time I work away the less I get to use her.

Spent so much money though and seeing how much they sell for :pale:

Reeeeeally upsets me leaving her parked up for months at a time, so i've been toying with the idea of selling up and just having 1 car and my motorbike until I get a bit more settled.

Problem I have is that I know that in all likelyhood it would be bought and stripped for parts as the engine and box are worth more than the rest of the car :D

If someone came to me with the right offer though..... :?

I owned a Mk1 MX5 for about 4 months when my old one broke and got bored of that quickly (Missed the power of the turbo).

What about a FIed MX5? Plenty around. Supercharger for no lag, low end power, Turbo for silly numbers :D . Just make sure it has a LSD.

Totally different experience to the MR2, not as poised but much easier to hold a slide!

Yes mate, done Mallory park. Still tempted to break it, off on tour next year over the summer so it won't get used properly for about 18 months. :(

Thinking of getting rid, buying something sensible and a chopper type bike :-k

Variety is the spice of life. I would either daily drive it and appreciate it for what it is (which is what I do) or get rid and move on.

How much do people think my car would be worth as a rolling shell, no turbo fitted, no IC fitted, slightly notchy 2nd & 3rd gear, LSD box, 450lbs Spec2 clutch, stock wheels, stock suspension, no seats, no bonnet, MOT on the car till Aug 13 car could do with a re-spray or a re-wrap, t-bar leak during really heavy rain, I'll do a compression test on engine before I strip the turbo etc off it, collected from Merthyr Tydfil area, oh and its a spoilerless TRD kitted Rev1 t-bar.
