Sorry NOS My car is on the drive and rusting ATM - No pod for me :(

Hence why I only check in now and again.

I would think to get the best out of the stock bottom end balancing the rods and having them peened would be a great start.

They are pretty heavy and have a lot of sprue around the edges that can be ground of to get the weights for each rod the same. I have a set somewhere that I got bang on in terms of weights but they need to be shot peened before going back into service.


Also the pistons can be evened up in terms of weights they are pretty wild at times too in terms of weight variation.

my rev2 hit 8.5k and probably would have kept going and my headgasket has gone, probably due to the headbolts and crap paper gasket.

I didnt even know that the Bltiz Acess ECU removed the limiter.

Imcurrently replacing it with a Cometic triple layer metal headgasket and ARP headstuds and bolts which should be miles better.

Think Im just going to change up from 6k from now on and not listen to friends egging me on :oops:

Im also worried though that my valve stems seals have failed also from this stupid mistake
