going to have to sell my mr2 as she's developed an oil leak which I am suspecting could be head gasket (worse case scenario) I have changed the rocker cover gasket which I thought was the problem but it turns out that was just one of the three oil leaks, the other was just a loose oil filter which I've sorted and the third could be from the head gasket or at least that area : ( body work is a bit shabby with evidence of some rather dodgy brush painting on a coupe of areas, has an silly aftermarket steering wheel and gear stick (does have a short shift kit on though). T bar seal on drivers door lets a bit of water in but not loads and a fog light is missing. Well that's the bad bits over lol. She does have tax till January and test till June next year, leather seats are quite good I think, windscreen isn't scratched or chipped, windows work well,has a cd player and storage din,remote central locking and toad alarm unit,hid ballasts on the lights which work great. Has been no bother until the oil leak situation has had a recent water temp sensor and a sticky caliper has been freed up so no bother there, has original alloys tyres all ok. In summary not the best car out there but it's £350 after all.It's on gum tree and ad trader (co durham area) with pics as I can't upload them on here from my phone. So there we have it mr2 rev1 tax and test, oil leak which drops onto exhaust and in turn smokes a bit when cars hot( just from engine compartment where oil is in contact with exhaust) doesn't struggle to start and doesn't smoke from exhaust.
