Brake upgrade query

Fairly simple one, are the later spec front brakes a straight swap or will I need to change anything else?
Obviously I'll need new discs but do they mount the same as the early ones?
Found a website where the later spec brakes end up twenty quid a corner cheaper than the early ones so might as well go for the upgrade...

Yes, but you need the caliper mount as well.

..... and the 1a dust shields will need to be removed/replaced as they wont fit over the 1b discs.

To be fair you can just lose the dust shields.

New ones are now discontinued anyway - I had to weld mine up with new metal
