£1,250I bought this car to do up and replace my much missed Caribbean Blue MK2 NA.
However due to a positive change in finances it looks like my aim for a Turbo could become a reality much sooner than anticipated. So now this car is ready it's up for sale. She's a real beauty when cleaned up as you can see in the photos and video. Looks stunning sat outside my house and is getting a lot of passing interest. Sills & arches in excellent condition - no rust.New Alloy Radiator fitted.
Recent Front Brake Calipers/discs. Stainless Steel Exhaust (very shiny, looks custom). CAT fitted. 17 very nice looking Alloy Wheels (7J all round but staggered tyres). Turbo Half-Leather/Alcantara Seats & Door Cards. Alarm/Immobiliser. Sony Stereo. Crystal side lights & repeaters for that updated look. 173BHP Rev3 Non-Turbo engine. Always Starts First Time. T-Bar Removable Roof Panels with shades & bags. No leaks from roof. Toyota Reliability. Great Fun To Drive. Stunning Red Colour. Below Average Mileage for age (114,000 miles) only covered around 3,000 miles over past 2 years. Bodywork very good for an 18 year old car. 15 Service Stamps. Oil/filter, spark plugs, brake fluid, air filter have just been changed prior to sale. Very straight car. Loads of history & previous MOT's included. MOT until May 2013. No Tax (SORN).Been looking at car today.
Started 1st time as usual and drove very well (private land). Just thought I'd point out a couple of things that people have been asking. For an 18 year old car this certainly looks and runs very well though.Bad Bits:
Tyres mismatched
(although legal tread).Wheels could do with a bit of touching up.
Paintwork has minor patching but still very good for age.
Corner of front bumper (top) looks like it has been painted with a slightly different shade of red.Some minor rust bubbling on bottom of doors/corner of roof where t-bar sits on one side.
Easy fix though.Cambelt last changed at 75k miles.
All these things don't detract from the fact that this is a very nice car that just needs a small amount of tlc to be a great car.
