Hi all,

Bought this back in Jan on the spur of the moment but it's got a few more thing needing doing that I would like

- perhaps better to move this one on.

On the plus side:
Has had all the problem area's welded by the looks, and a respray that from a few feet away is a pretty good job.

It isn't A1 but looks a lot lot better than most pink mk1's!
Gearbox is the best I've used in a mk1

- doesn't even nod in 5th, and no graunching in any gears.

Good tyres all round, unused spare wheel.

Aftermarket exhaust
New cambelt

& tensioner, all new ignition components

(plugs/dizzy cap/rotor arm/leads), done by me in Feb.

MOT till Jan

'13, Taxable at buyers' expense.

On the bad side:
The heater matrix circuit sprang a couple of leaks in the

-15 degree weather, guess too much water in the mix.

I've fixed a couple but there is one remaining in the S-bend section just below the frunk.

I've looped the system back into itself for now and it's holding water fine, and not overheating.

Interior is missing some bits and the dash has been flocked.

I've begun replacing the interior where I could.

Have recently fixed a TPS issue and now the engine is running very well.
