OK, so June's meet will be as follows.
Meet at Lymm Services at 7-7.30pm, take a short tour of the area and end up at The Holly Bush. I've had a chat with them and, for up to 20 of us, we can have our own room . The food is excellent and there is a good range for all budgets.
When ah were a lad, this was the smallest pub in Cheshire and, although it's bigger now, it's still pretty bijou. So, I could do with giving them a fairly accurate number on the Friday before.
If you're in, stick your name down. The more the merrier
Here's the list so far...
1. Big_M & Anne
2. MartinR & Shel (both work pending)
3. RickMcRick +1
4. wilkie senior
5. l33mr2 +/- 1
6. Phil-B (mr2oc)
7. wilki23
8. WWM
9. BlueDragon +1 (mr2oc)
10. dazzz
11. Lauren (maybe)
12. Liz & Rog

Moved this to Events section for you.
I will try my best to make it as it's pretty local to me. Guess as pub has a beer garden I can bring Indy with me too!

Ah, thanks. Where had I put it?
Good to hear you'll try and make it along. There is a decent beer garden, yes. No dogs inside though.

Shame about the no dog thing, thoguht most pubs out in the country were dog friendly these days.

I don't know if it's an environmental health thing, but I don't know of any places that serve food that allow dogs any more.

There are no environmental health issues at all. A dog is allowed where food is served, but not where it is prepared. So a dog can go in any pub, hotel or restaurant no problem, but not in the kitchen. There are lots of dog friendly pubs around to be fair and I've even taken Indy in restaurants before.
It's just pubs choosing not to allow it.
I do appreciate that I'm not asking you to arrange meets around my requirements, I don't expect that at all. It's summer if I bring her, we'll go in the beer garden.
Here's an example of dog friendly pubs:
There (apparently) 73 dog friendly pubs in Cheshire:

Re: Northwest Meet 11 June
Well, there you go. Two of those pubs were on my list of options but I ruled them out on food prices. I really wanted to offer food options for all budgets.

Re: Northwest Meet 11 June
In such situations I fall back on my 'what's the worst that can happen' theory, 'they ask you to leave'.
You go in a shop and you're not sure if you're allowed to sit in that car, or on that motor bike or start playing that guitar, just do it, what's the worst that can happen, they ask you to leave (well so long as you don't break anything in the process LOL).

Re: Northwest Meet 11 June
or you could ring and ask! a lot of places will let dogs in but in the bar side, not the restaurant. plus its probably more to do with allergies. i know people that cant be in rooms that dogs have been in before because they are allergic

Midweek bump...
Do we have any more takers...?
Also, I could do with knowing if anyone is planning to go straight to The Holly Bush, so we aren't waiting at Lymm for anyone who isn't coming
