do toms scoop have toms marking on them? i have taken mine off,was a very good fit,and is really well made but no markings,i believe it has been on the car since it was imported too?

Yeah i think they do! You probably have a good copy!

No they don't have markings but they have fibreglass brackets at the bottom across where the intake enters the engine bay. The quality of the fibre glass should be excellent as well as the fit.

Genuine Japanese parts tend to use white GRP, copies tend to be grey in colour.

it doesnt have the brackets across the base so obviouslynot gen. buts its a good fit and feels very solid the fibre glass is a kind of beige coluor inside,outside has been painted is it worth anything or just bin material?

Decent fitting replicas usually go for £60-£70 in need of painting.
