You could try a PM to Sbits or Craig

If I had his number ( ), I wouldn't give it to you though, but I would try and contact him on your behalf.

Some advice from Dale himself, aimed at me, when I was being accused of messing someone around with a dodgy product.

I can understand that :)

I've tried private messaging him through here twice this week, one message has been read but the other in still in my sentbox. I have also sent him a couple of messages through eBay where the car is also advertised but still had no response

Seems strange that he has a car up for sale, and has someone who is very interested in buying it doesn't want to get in contact.

Onwards and upwards I guess, I'll keep plugging away as I would like to get it in my possession before Japfest in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for the information though you guys :thumleft:

You bought an engine that was as described (at a VERY cheap price), you even came to collect it yourself, paid and took it away. some, what, 3 weeks later??? you text me to say one of the exhaust manifold studs had snapped, so I replied stating that im happy for you to bring it back and ill put new studs in as I had plenty spare... you then went on and on about b0ll0x basically and never brought the engine back... so if I gave you a solution why not take me up on it and go around in circles? I haven't got the time for crap like that all over a £3 stud

Also you NEVER once phoned me, never mind left a voicemail, as I dont have voicemail active on my phone and havent for years! You've not PM'd me either, so why lie Peter? Oh and I still have all your text messages on my phone even from december, because I knew at some point you would chance your luck and try slag my name...

You bought something, you allegedly* found an issue, was offered a solution, you ignored the solution > YOUR problem.

*(I say that because as I stated in my texts im pretty sure the manifold stud wasnt snapped as I checked it over. My theory Is that you bought the engine for a customer, who later changed his mind about having the engine fitted and so you wanted your money back)

anyway back to my topic, thanks for the interest to those who have enquired, I've decided to keep it, as I know in the future ill regret selling it due to it being such a rare car. I should have thought about it before advertising really, but thats how it is. I will just keep it SORN until the winter and use it then again.
