refurb and sprayed my wheels, calipers & lights !

Hey people my mr2 tubby wheels was looking poor.. one of them needed a refurb and didnt suit the colour of the car so i changed that ....

heres how it did look and a few pics of doing some work and finished results :thumleft:

a few hours of drying after my mate putting my wheels on for me as i did the backlights..

Wheels look tops mate.

Not sure on the lights. A quick buff and polish would have sorted those without looking chav.

Wheels look much better mate. I do like tinted rear lights myself, but it is now a certain M.O.T failure. I`ve just bought s fresh standard set which I`m going to polish up and switch my tinted rears out. I`d lose the vtec diss sticker though! :lol:

I agree with the others, you've done a great job on those wheels they look mint. :thumleft:

ill just have to swap them for the mot time haha :D ... thanks dude the wheels do look much better i dont know why it has taken me 3 years to get round to doing them !!

thanks dude thats why i uploaded the pic to make people laugh and so everyone can try it if they go and spray their wheels :eye:

Light's look ok, not my thing, prefer them stock but not too bad...

Watch out for sidelights/indicators.

MOT law now changed.

ANY modifications to lights (including tinting) that change colour or output now an MOT failure.

Lot easier to get nicked now since it used to be only Contruction & Use.

Yeah crystal fronts, standard rears with US domestic market triangles is what I am going for now, save any hassle.

I do like the tinted lights but on a red car i think that the rounded rears polished up would look good. Not sure which revision they are off though.
