Very VERY Annoying Noise!

My car is driving me mad i just cant work out where the noise is coming from. its a very high pitch noise almost so high you cant here it, it doesnt change pitch when you accelerate or slow down.

It dosnt affect how the car drives at all just very annoying.

Anyone got any ideas what it could be?

where does it come from? can you hear it from inside or from outside too? can you her it when the car is stationary?

hi , i had this high pitch noise before , it turned out to be a vac pipe leaking from the tvis , check all the air pipes it might be them .

its hard to tell where its coming from i can here it inside and outside the car, and it happens when stationary as well as when moving.

i will have a look at them i did think it could be something like that but didnt know where to check i will try the ones from the tvis first. its driving me mad, its like having tinnitus whenever im driving.

Ditto this, even did it whilst stationary with the engine off iirc, that was the only time I could hear it.

Chears even more reason for me to check all the hoses, i will do it as soon as i have a bit of free time. i hope it is as simple as that.
