what sub volume enclosure can you get behind seat?

Post by Ian Geary »

Narrowed my sub & amp choice down to a particular model.

Problem is, the 12" package is cheaper than buying a 10" sub and amp seperately.

I'm still checking out how mcuh volume each sub requires, but what's the typical volume people have obtained from sub boxes behind the seats?

Is it easy enough to get a 1cu ft enclosure in there, or am I only looking at 0.5cu ft?

If I can get nearish a cubic foot I'll go with the 12" sub.

Thanks for any help

Cheers Andy,

I know the ones you mean. £150 a side is a bit of a downside though - that's more than my sub and amp combined.

I've got a 10" sub on order, and I'll probably have a go at making a box from some dimensions that have been kicking round on here for a while.

It's about 0.7 cu feet which should be OK for a 10" sub I reckon.
