Hey guys thanks for the replies and Tsia thats brilliant mate! Not exactly the camo i would go for i would go all dark greens and a bit neater than that.. with lots of nice carbon.. Some very good points..
Yes up until now i have been using Mercs and astons etc for shoots but what i have also noticed is my clients are actually not business men in suites there are many labels who cater for them already. I sell a lot of pieces to the Japanese market and the clients tend to be younger, creative industry, photographers, DJs, designers etc...
Also i want to reflect more of my own personality in the image of the label, and this is not really for photo shoots as much as just a company car although i do have a nice idea of a fiiiit Japanese bird parked up on a nice mountain road... End of the day LV Gucci etc all use astons and mercs etc... Im not LV or Gucci im Ayo Blake and i want to be different... Been taking alot of inspiration from the Jap fashion and style scene with my new collection (on sale in Liberties AW12 , shameless punt lol) its time for something new!!

Think i will go for a vinyl skin rather than paint if i do it so at least it would be removable if i do decide on a change...

quite like this pattern but colours are far to harsh

Just have to say - you have a fantastic looking 2 (snap on the wheels!), so for the love of whatever gods are up there DO NOT go ruining it with camo!
I wouldn't say it screams "chav", i eould just say it looks plain crap! Almost like someone has fallen into your car with a handful of tester pots.

Please leave the camo for the battlefield where it belongs

nooo... Step away from the camo. This would be slightly better not on a red car.

used to see many Fords with these in deepest Essex in the 90's most from Fords at Dunton.

How about picking up a cheap MR2 to camo and see what it ends up looking like. Yours really does look too clean to do it to.

Your clients might not be Aston or Mercedes owning types, but the point is that they aspire to be.

Portraying a camo MR2 as what they can aspire to own will most likely lose you business!

Your average young guy wants to own Armani suits and a Jaguar etc. The remaining typical young guy (like myself over the last 10 years or so) doesn't much care for labels, nor would I be interested in bespoke leather goods. I am an MR2 owner though......so I don't think your clientel would be impressed by a chaved up MR2.

I can understand why some of you are quite baffled about this in the business sense...
Firstly this not definitely to use for photo shoots its just going to be my company ride. But to give an example, one of my best customers for bespoke is a Japanese dood whos a film editor... early 30s Where,s evisu, bathing ape, LV, Ayo Blake bags, drives a MINT, stock r33 gtr wheres a Jacob watch with many diamonds... Listens to hip hop and reggae and always smells of weed.. Hes spends thousands on bespoke pieces with me and what he likes its a quality hand made product but its not steeped in conservative tradition but its fresh, young and contemporary in its design but using quality materials and hand craft... He likes snow boarding, drifting, and fashion..

This is £2000 calf skin carry all i made for him and i doubt hes going to carry it with a suite..

Image

I dont really get the victoria beckhams or the savil row business man or the italian play boy...

Now I have a photographer who shoots for Dior, many big brands so he generally comes up with campaign shots and i role with it hence the mercedes and chiseled looking homosexual because that what every one else has....

But i have been thinking while it looks very pro its not the brands real identity and i didnt build a successful brand by copying other people..

What i would really like is... A a balls out gloss black silvia s15 in full drift spec, parked on a japanese mountain road door open with a fit japnese bird sitting on the bonnet casual but stylish with luggage bag next her gazing into the distance.... probably would not even show the whole car but the elite would think hmmmm thats an s15.... or maybe a pheonix power Mr2 or a nice RX7...... what ever... My point being if i saw that i would think that to be far cooler than a gay man (not homophobic just stating a fact) on a classic merc... (i do like classic mercs) but a serious jdm modified kinda sums up my label more its new its fringe, elitist, and every one is unique.. And head to head it might show up a few big italian brands...

So i dont have a s15 drift spec or pheonix power mr2 so i just want to build something raw and unique but no F&F flashy, more jap underground street racy.. im open to ideas really....

this was a very cool advert..

You're clearly very passionate about what you do, and it's a quality to admire. I'm all for your ideas - they sound superb and is something I'd love to see.

HOWEVER. What you currently have is one fantastic looking car. Remember, this is an MR2 owners club, and we have the best interests of the CAR at heart.

I agree with a previous poster in that you should absolutely go ahead with your ideas - but not on your current car. There are so many bargains to be had out there with MR2's now that it would make far more sense to buy a cheap, tidy MR2 and create your vision with that.

Heck, if it's mainly for photographic purposes it doesn't even need to be fully functional - as long as it's aesthetically pleasing. (Typical model, eh!?)

Of course, at the end of the day you really don't need our approval to do anything. But from the perspective of an Owners Club I think I speak on behalf of the majority when I say that you will turn a perfectly adequate car into a piece of 'art' that will only appeal to the minority.

Why not have the best of both worlds...

Having said that, if that one above had some work meister S1s, carbon bonnet and wing and the paint hand not been sprayed on from cans !!!!
Its the way you do these things i say!! Colours really let that one above down as well.... But i can see something there... But all green camo with maybe red ostrich interior and i mean the whole shabang, dash board head linging seats, gauge pods, steering wheel.. every thing! would match the engine bay as well as a vinyl skin would leave it red in the bay!!!!
The rough with the smooth!!! i suppose thats kinda the theme i am thinkning around.. Would definitely have to get either some Blitz tecnospeeds though... Maybe even carbon engine cover as well ...and getting rid of the japspeed for a nice nur spec pretty soon.
Just bought a Blitz Bov and blitz SUS (should of got the sonic power but....£335. :-k ....)so i might start a Blitz theme.

Camo? Only cool if you are 17 or wanting to sell products to 17 year olds.

Otherwise stick to solid colours.
