They'll be a little bit on the big side for 195 width tyres (195mm = 7.7 inches) but you may well get away with it.
The lower than standard offset should compensate for the extra width but they'll certainly fill the arches.
There are wheel/tyre calculators out there that will show how the wheel will sit on the hub compared to your current wheel. http://www.1010tires.com/wheeloffsetcalculator.asp
Had a play and from my 7 inch 37 offset wheels the new ones would sit 1mm closer to the strut (which is fine) but 25mm outwards which may well cause problems with fouling the arch if your car's lowered.
i had my doubts as well, yes i think they would look cool but at a price.
i contacted the company this morning and they have come back saying they have them also in 7x15 with et30 offset and these will be near perfect
waiting for a confirmation to make sure they are the black/silver versions and not the gold/silver type before i order

This is how they sit in the arch. Bear in mind that I have my coilovers round right down in this pic and yes, the arch lip does foul the tyre.
Have you got any more pictures of this car? Curious as to how the 86 paint job looks
They are not split rims , sold as JBW or John brown wheels through midland wheels web site or on eBay. Cheap £325 copies of equip03 but they are excellent quality and far lighter than my old mk3 wheels.
Great service next day delivery
Did some more checking and find the wheels are stamped up evoke on the inside and when i have done a Google they appear to be made by http://www.evokewheels.com/
as with most products it's all badge engineering coming out of one or 2 factories
weighed them and they come out at 6.2kg as apposed to 6.9kg for my old mk3 wheels. i thought they felt lighter
Think it's going to be sitting about 40mm further out towards the wheel arch. You may need to roll your arches, depends how low it is.
Or it may be just too much offset, you'd really need to measure up.
Mk3 wheels have a offset of 45 and are placed too far inside the wheel arch for my liking
my new wheels have a offset of 30
This lower offset makes my new wheels stick out further by an extra 15mm from my old mk3 wheels.(45 - 30 =15)
if you went to zero or -2 then they would stick out even further getting onto 45mm from mk3 wheels
i hope this helps
Ya it helps my friend.
I have mk3 wheels on mine also and i dont like the way they sit inside the arch.
I have the chance to buy a set of 15 X 7 wheels with a -2 offset.
They have no tyres on them at the minute so i wont know how they will sit exactly on my car. Car is still running standard suspension.
Lauren wrote:I think they do sit in a bit far with the MK3 wheels, Peter. They have 10mm more offset than standard wheels which are obviously narrower.
You're not wrong Lauren
I can certainly see a difference between the pic of my car (above) & the pics that Ian (Mulaz) posted
Will have to see how my car sits when I put the Lesjofors on it
Wider track would be an advantage for me (as well as looking better)
As it is now the tyres would catch on the arches
