Hello from a new member and owner

Post by CJ »

Hi there. I have only just joined the site and today purchased a red 1997 Mk2 3SGE which I am going to be collecting next Saturday.

I was lucky to buy this at what i considered to be a bargain price and despite it having a lot of miles (around 150k), it has a load of service history, stacks of receipts, recent cam belt, exhaust and other changes and looks like a car that has been well looked after.

This is my first MR2 after being involved in the Supra scene for many years and I am really looking forward to the experience of owning and driving it.

I am sure you will be inundated with questions from me soon enough but don't worry, I have been around forums long enough to know that the search button is my friend :D

Hi Colin

Welcome!

That sounds like a car to look forward to and I don't think mileage is such a big deal as you say if the car's been looked after.

I hope you have a lot of fun with it.

I am pretty sure I will have fun. Is this a good thread to post some pics up? I have a few of the car already and would be pleased to show her off.

Cars looks great, nice buy.

Forum here is excellent, I'm on a few owners club sites for our other cars & this by far the most friendly & helpful...

The only other one I use is the Supra forum and that is really good too. I think I need to pay now and become a premium member as it seems only fair considering i will be inundating people with questions before long :D
