imo not likely - more like plug not seated correctly.

had same prob, spark was jumping and started too missfire. The old gasket in the middle (centre two plugs) was leaking. Got a new kit, the old gasket was hardened and poo basically, got a nice new supple one and cleaned the joint faces, problem solved

leaking cam cover gaskets due to screws coming loose is very common on 3sgte rev1/2 rev3 better.

ive found this out recently, swapped my rocker gaskets as i was getting leaking in chamber 2 and 1. they were as solid as wood! they snapped easily, but my bolts keep coming loose and its getting on my nerves :(
whats the difference with these hex bolts?

You can get the standard ones tight if you use a philips drive bit on a torque wrench (or standard wrench). I'd say its equally important to check them every now and then and check for oil leakage. Remember also tighten in an opposed sequence i.e opposite corners and check each bolt once ther all in. Mine are nice and tight now, and seem to be holding fine
