Excellent, looks very well indeed. I hope it stays looking like that for many years to come! :thumleft:

The more I see MK1's, the more I wanna put my engine in one, and 1.5 it up! :twisted:

You're too kind, credit goes to Dafydd Crisp's team at Superb Classics and Sports.

AD08s are (stupid of me) here in Skye, car is yet to come up from Dafydd in South Wales.

I'm hoping the new boots like wet, wet weather, or even snow, coupled with yet more "violent storm force 11" episodes, or in fact BBC let's be honest and simply come out and say Force 12 seeing as it got to 165mph last week.

Lots of things planned for it after the good wheels go on. Could do with a lot of help and advice as I'm completely incompetent in every department (and being disabled doesn't help).

* finish regimen of prayer that wheels fit (Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 15"). Fretting about (1) ET (no idea), and (2) centre-bore vs spigot rings (wholly unk).

Next things on the list

* Sort out the lights. posh bulbs Osram Nightbreakers.

* Get the suspension looked at. Play? Shocks? Konis?

* Brakes. What on earth do I do about brakes?

* Interior tweaks? How to posh it up a little more? Fabric cleaning?

* Battery to frunk? How?

* Def. need a Jimi Bracket. :-) Who doesnt! :-)

Next yr:

New engine: In the spring, Paul Woods is putting his own hand-crafted 4A-GE in. (When he gets some free time.) Woo hoo!
