Cheers - yeah, it does get dirty very quickly!

Car isnt in the best state now, slowly working at getting it back to decent condition again - had a bit of an argument with a tree a couple months ago :(

Will look a lot better in a few weeks time once right hand side of the car has the dents pulled and is resprayed!

Also, changed the rear discs and pads, left disc came off like this:

whoever fitted the last set of pads didnt fit them correctly - the brake piston was not in the correct position, so the pads did not sit straight, resulting in extremely uneven wear.

As some of you know, a while ago I did this:

Oops.

Then, it looked like this:

Thanks to Mike0491 (Corsa-C UK) for the amazing face shop ftlols here.

And thanks to Jamie at Sharpe Concepts Auto Refinishing, it now looks like this:

Back to square one!

If anyone needs any body work done, whether its repair or modifications, give Jamie a ring, his work is ace and very reasonably priced, just don't expect to be able to get it started instantly - his workshop is nearly always full :D he is based in Ravens Green, near Gt. Bentley in Essex - between Colchester and Clacton.

Glad you got it sorted. Great feedback on Jamie, the work looks spot on. :thumleft:

I'm definitely going to use him when I get my bumper/wings sorted as I only live a couple of miles away.

I've been in contact with him a little while ago but have had to put the work off as my suspension needed replacing and the Mrs won't let me spend any more on the car for a while!

Couldnt be happier with the work done!

Where did you get your front indicator / sidelights from? Mine has clear ones, but they look a lot lighter / clearer than mine? They look good!

Yours look like the standard Toyota clear ones. Mine are 'Crystal' eBay specials. Easy to change.

Love the black detailing toddjnr - I want some anthracite / gunmetal wheels for mine.

Cheers Infamous, those were taken with my Olympus E3 + 12-60mm SWD. I love it, but I think I have a slight focussing issue with the body or the lens - need to get myself a focus / resolution test chart and test it.

Great Orme i think it's called?

When I bought my first Mk2 a long time ago I took it around there with a mate of mine. Brilliant little area!

Now on split Advans:

In need of a refurb, and some new tyres as the rears are the wrong size really...

Excuse the dirt, this was after a drive up to the Yorkshire Dales :P

Hi power silver lips (full on polished metal is just too much to look after IMO...) and anthracite centres I think. Before that, new rubber on all four corners - the rears are the wrong size, the fronts are mismatched and the handling is way off - considering taking them off, putting the old ones back on until i get new tyres.

Probably going to get FK452's, 225/45R16 rear and 205/45R16 front - 235 would be nicer on an 8J, but I dont think anyone makes a 235/45 or 235/40 16inch.

Also checking out ebay from time to time for tyres and suspension - I think a 30mm drop, maybe a little bit more at the front, will really look good, as the wheels are staggered with the right offsets!
