A rare chance to buy a well developed V6 engined Mk2 in vgc. This conversion transforms the MR2, the car that Toyota should have made.

1991. 110k miles. Service history. 12 mths Mot. 6 mths Tax. £2995 ono.
Present owner 6 yrs. Full service 3k mls ago including £200 Toyota ignition.
£3000 professional conversion by V6 specialist Paul Woods (Woodsport) using a Toyota 3VZ-FE 24v quad cam (later std 200 bhp engine). Certificated.
£1200 of additional work includes heads ported/gas flowed professionally (by 4V6) with new cam belt, idler pulley, water pump. Custom s/steel exhaust Y pipe. Magnex s/steel exhaust system (quite at cruise). Estimated 225 bhp @ 6500rpm. 225 ftlbs @ 2000rpm. 0-60 6 secs. 0-100 14 secs with instant throttle response.

T bar roof. Black leather interior. Dark blue metallic. Air con.
16” x 7”/8” 5 spoke split rims with good Goodyear F1’s. Side skirts. Turbo engine lid. Rev 3 s/wheel. Oil pressure/temp gauges. Folding mirrors.
Sony head unit, Bluetooth, front usb, uprated speakers & amplifiers. Screen aerial.
High security Cobra alarm system with remote c/locking, microwave interior.

This is a mini-Ferrari with Toyota reliability, low running costs, can be serviced at any Toyota garage, good availability of new/used parts, good owners clubs.

Hmmm, that's tempting. Out of interest, what's a typical insurance figure for a V6 conversion like this? My Mk1 Super Charger is £188/pa and if this isn't heaps more...

I pay £500pa for normal unlimited mileage insurance, classic car or limited mileage would be around half.
