I still cant believe what happened a few days ago.

It was mid afternoon on a nice clear day and everything was perfect for a nice calm gentle drive back home after a short day at work.

Traveling back home along the A421

(Dual carriage way) towards the A6, I see a few cars have stopped up ahead and a little purple Fiesta facing the central barrier.

I thought to myself,

"Oh crap looks like a smash up, might be waiting here for awhile as it looks like its just happened".

Oh how wrong I was.

There had been no crash, not even a spin out.

This lady driving the fiesta had decided it was a great place to make a 3 point turn.

I sat there looking on in amazement.

Now remember this is a dual carriage way, so now this lady has completed here 3 point turn and is now head back on the wrong side of the road in the overtaking lane.

At this point as she is driving past Im worried for mine and other road users safety and am yelling at the top of my voice out the window

"youre going the wrong way".

She carries on driving slowly passed but looked at me as though I was an idiot.

Probably thinking, he doesnt know where I'm going.

Luckily nobody was in that lane and was clear as far back as I could see.

I could see other drivers shaking their heads and after the queue of traffic that this lady had caused got moving again it seemed ages before anyone would dare overtake.

How anyone can be so unaware of the road is beyond me, especially as she would have seen 2 lanes of cars whizzing past on the other side of the barrier as she completed her 3 point turn.

Still in shock.
