FS: Cosmos Blue Rev 5 GTi-16v T-bar £2500

Post by stevenb »

I have decided to sell my car sooner.
Basically I advertised before as I was saving for a BMW but then changed my mind again.
I'm actually now selling up due to forthcoming job changes for both my Wife and myself so I'll be buying a smaller/cheaper car.

S reg Rev 5 Gt T-bar in Cosmos Blue
75k miles (in use so will increase slightly)
MOT to June 23 2012, Tax to end of Feb 12
Totally standard.
I am only the 3rd owner from new and the lady I bought it from purchased the car from Whichford Toyota in 1999 for which I have the bill of sale. The owner before was Toyota.
HPI clear with details to prove.

Spec:
Clean rip/tear free leather seats
T-Bar blinds/bags, T-Bars do not leak!
Full Service History (Toyota/Independent mostly Toyota)
Toyo Proxes T1R's all round with 7mm tread
Toyota CD/Radio/Casette double din unit.
NB. No electric aerial motor! Easy to buy and fit but I don't use the radio although it does work.
Stereo face off security panel with case.
Toyota owners folder with all docs/receipts/MOT's/spare keys

Since purchasing I have serviced the car again with Toyota 10w40 semi synth oil and a Toyota oil filter, Toyota air filter, NGK plus, New Dizzy cap & arm. Throttle body cleaned and Throttle Position sensor recalibrated.

All lights are working, all switches are working. Excellent discs/pads all round.
Timing belt kit changed in 2010.
Clutch in 2008.

Car drives perfectly straight, no knocks/rattles/smoke.
Interior is smoke free and doesn't creak/rattle.
Ultra smooth/refined. Economical too.

This is a lovely MR2 and will make it's new owner very proud.
£2500 please
Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have.
I can't get on the forum during the day Mon-Fri as I'm at work but eve's/weekends are fine. :thumleft:

Thanks

Steve

I've not QUITE got enough for this outright :( I am only home for two weeks too. I'll speak to my dad on Monday and discuss. I've got a renaultsport clio 200 ATM, but can't sell it until March 12 :(
What bad points could you give on it? I was always after an mr2 turbo, but I am getting out the army next year so I need to be sensible-ish!!
Don't suppose you do a discount for soldiers serving in Afghan do you!?! Lol.

I'll be in touch after the weekend, either way.

Thanks, Stuart

*edit* that was supposed to be a pm! Ha. I must have been away from the forum for too long!!

From the way you worded your reply I thought you wanted me to mention bad points abour your Clio. :thumleft:

The car has no bad points apart from a few small chips on the bonnet and the electric aerial motor which isn't there.....so just needs a new one or substitue aerial. I'm not a radio listener in my car so I'm not replacing it although the radio itself works perfectly and picks up local signals.

I'm not in a rush to sell either as I'm downgrading to a smaller/cheaper car so this will stay with me until I get what I want for it. :)

Will consider a PX against a Seat Ibiza 1.9TDi Sport 130.
