Vasaline? Baby wipes? You serious?! :)

Autoglym leather care sounds more promising... ;-)

Speaking as a retrimmer, I only use baby oil and baby wipes on my leather interiors. :thumleft:

Baby wipes to keep them nice and clean and baby oil (not baby lotion!) every few months to keep the leather nice and supple. I make no promises about how successful baby oil would be on OEM leather, mind... :-k

I'll recommend the gliptone cleaner and conditioner, really gives a bit of life back into old leather and gives it's smell back. Though is yours scuffed or just a bit tired? You can buy special scuff repair kits.

+1 for baby wipes. Must have camomile in them. Then use shoe buffer for shine :thumleft:

Hi, Modern leathers doesn't need conditioners or "feeds", to keep it clean use a damp cloth, water re-hydrates the oils that have dried up in the leather causing it to harden.
This will work better if the leather is warmed via the heating system.

If it needs repairing, Furniture Clinic's products are superb. I use them in my Leather Repair Business along with some other great products that I get from America.

Cheers,

Michael.

Flake a bar of Dove soap into a basin of hot water, and use a cloth to wipe/wash the leather.

My mate does upholstering and says, use on your leather what you use on your skin!

No, that doesn't mean fake tan!
