1992 K plate Toyota MR2 GTi 16v T-Bar UK car in Aqua Marine Blue
The car has covered just over 135k but has been well maintained and drives superbly having many new parts fitted in the last few years which include:
All engine gaskets, full exhaust system including cat, new radiator, oxy & temp sensors, callipers have been reconditioned, new brake servo, water pipes, rear torsion bars replaced, clutch and cam belt done, new sills and new gear gator and gear knob.The car is in excellent condition overall considering it is 19years old and still has its original paint work apart from where both sills have been professionally repaired due to corrosion.
There are a few stone chips and scratches which are expected of a car of this age. The only bad point is the drivers door has started to rust which I have shown on the picture. Replacement can be sourced aprox £50It is also completely standard
(not molested in anyway) which is rare, the only thing that has been changed is the colour of the wheels to Anthracite grey. Front tyres are Toyo Proxis with 4-5mm of tread and the rears have aprox 3-4mm of tread.This MR2 benefits from the T-bar removable roof which does not leak in any way which is very rare! It also has Black Leather interior which sadly suffers from a worn bolster and burn mark on the passenger seat as shown in the pictures.
Replacement seats can be sourced for around £100I bought this car a few months ago as a project for my brother to take on as i already have an MR2 myself, due to unforeseen circumstances he can no longer drive so I am putting it up for sale.
I have owned many MR2's over the years and have to say this is one of the most genuine solid cars I have seen and would keep it for myself if I had not spent a small fortune on my own.
