Seen another MR2 when you were out and about? Find out if it was another IMOCer here.

Post by DotNetter »

I spotted this rev 3 turbo (or maybe a NA with an engine lid change :)) in the carpark @ work!

Just wondered if it was anyone on here?

Cheers

That sounds very much like me mate! Check my profile :D

I assume you mean at your work where i'm parked up at the moment - what you driving? :) Or rather, whereabouts are you parked?

Could you be Wayne Feltham? :-k

Sorry guys...took me a while to get home and online

I recon we work in the same place then Dave! :)

The car looks a bit different from your profile now though...thought I saw a set of 17" rims and a big ehxuast (although I may be getting confused with a black celica I saw earlier) - exhuast looked like the HKS hyper I had on my last MR2 HUGE!!! :D

I'm driving a red mk2 rev1 G-Ltd t-bar. Only had it a couple of weeks. It also came with a private plate >>> H9 OTT

I bought it cheap off ebay (as you do). I had a black mk2 a year ago but had to get rid of it around christmas and I've been waiting for an excuse to get another 2 ever since :)

Couldn't quite afford the commuting costs of a tubby though (I do a 60mile round trip each day). Still, my new car sounds nice now that I've fitted a full Mongoose system and K&N kit ;)

Not sure I'll be able to make the meet...got my daughters birthday on that weekend. Also, I've never been to a meet so not sure what to expect...what happens...just meet up and look at eachothers cars?

Maybe I'll bump into you around the pavillions...I work down in CTS btw.

Cheers

Hi wayne,

I may have spoken to you before then - did your black one have aftermarket wheels? If so i think i spoke to you briefly last year asking you how you were getting on with the car - I had a black n/a then.

My car is as it is on the photos - mongoose exhaust, standard wheels with anthracite finish - lots of chassis mods.

If you fancy a trip out in the turbo drop me an email - i'm on the GAL. :)

Cheers

Oh and in regards to the meet, it's generally just a get together to have a look over everyones car and see what's what. Put some faces to names etc. All very friendly - and no gimpish morons flying about.
