Front and rear bumpers are off, wings are off and now separated from the bumper!

Probably easier to link to my Flickr than post pics, as I have just uploaded almost 50! There's been a lot of filler used on the kit. The rear quarters look to have rivets all the way down the length of them. Not sure how best to get them off at the moment.

My other half wants me to sell everything and buy something modern

Now I need to get the skirts and rear guards off. The skirts look to have rivets along the length of them. Once they are off that's about all I can do until I get a new 2 to test fit them on, as the car they are coming off is going straight to the scrappers, and the tubby is await a buyer for its engine.

Just had a quick look - excellent progress there :-)

Why don't you just treat the car as a mule and refit the bolt on bits properly ready to transfer to your new car.

how can anyone say he wont make his money back? you would get £600 all day long for the kit alone! + £200 for the bonnet + £100 the front lights, theres ya money!!! and you get the coiovers and other stuff for free! :thumleft:

Definitely keep the kit though and get it fitted properly!
