Alloy wheel fitment

Can someone correct me , ive been offered a set of s2000 honda wheels , ive been told the fitment is 5x114.3 but et is et55 ... Would these fit my car ok ? for winter use.

my car is 1998 mr2 rev5 mr2 ..

There not Ideal but you could fit them and see how much you would need to space them. They will rub but you could get spacers for them obviously they would need to be hub centric If you get 10mm spacer and that would bring them to standard fitment ET45 The only problem I can see is you will need to extend the nuts aswell possibly you need 6-8 turns at least.

How it works with offsets is The higher the number the further into the arch it sits in. The lower the numbers the further it sits out
