As Slarty says matey, although tarmac terrorist got up to those figure and beyond thrashing the living daylights out of his 440's.

.at 100%duty cycle mind.

.

.but you mayaswell now buy a rev 3 with a decat etc, you'll be not far off your amended goal with only the need for a standalone ecu and better cooling to make it solid steel.

I'm sure that some of the tuners on here will tell you, the ringlands are the weak spot on the standard pistons, they crumble and fail hence the need for forged items when boost is cranked up.

Even if you buy secondhand, to tune a rev2 it will cost around

£1500 to hit those figures, add another

£5-600 for forged pistons if you want to go higher, but the rev3 turbo will run out of guff around 320 fwbhp anyway so stick another

£bag of sand for a secondhand Garret/wastegate/DP etc.

.

.plus it's gonna cost

£300 to get it mapped, at least inluding some rolling road time each time you add stuff.

.

.expenso.

A good Rev 3 will give you around 280fwhp with just a decat/exhaust/plugs and boost at 1bar.

.

.add a grand for a power fc and chargecooler/IC and your at 300fwbhp.
