User "Leakie Tbar" not replying anymore - didnt receive item

Hi,

quite a long time ago I bought a clutch from Leakie Tbar from this Thread: www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=144147
Ha has a lot of positive feedback so I decided to have the clutch off him.
At first he was reading and answering his PMs. The last PM he sent me after I had paid for the clutch was from July 7th saying that he had sent the clutch and that he wanted to get back to me with the tracking information. After that I was out of the country for 3 weeks (checking my email regularly). When I came back the clutch hadn't arrived yet, which is odd, as it should have not taken more than a few days.
So I sent a PM to Leakie Tbar to request the tracking information for the package. He didn't even read that PM although I have seen him online on the forums since. I tried sending him a few emails requesting the tracking information and saying that the package hadn't arrived yet. No reaction. I'm just wondering what's going on. If the package was lost I'd like to discuss a refund as there is a non-negligible amount of money involved.

Well, this is turning out to be quite one-sided.
But I for one feel ripped off.
If this was intended from the beginning or just turned out this way as the clutch was lost in transit, I don't know. (If it was indeed lost, a claim to the postal service seems like a sensible first step.)
But refusing all contact in a case like this just seems like a ripoff to me. Leakie Tbar still does not read my PMs and is not responding to Emails to get this situation sorted.
I will check if there is anything else I can do.

Just to give an update.
This has finally turned out OK.
Leakie Tbar contacted me a few days ago, saying that he had some issues with a third party. He supplied tracking information, for a package that had been sent on august 10th. This package arrived on august 12th. And it contained the mentioned clutch.
So the only real problem here was the lack of information my way. And the package was sent one month later than first stated.

Hate to be a tell tale, but he's not replying to me now. I know he's busy with work but he has read my pm and not responded but has posted on topics since reading the pm so can't be that busy....

Yes I have neglected PM's Ive been on the Isle of skye also been to the ring.

I have always said buyer collects!

I waited for about 2 weeks asking several times when can you collect, you changed your mind asking to post again I said no, then again asked to arrange the item for a courier, which i advised i get 3 whole days off every month I dont have the time to wait around for the courier to collect wasting one of my days off!!! but i will do it !!!

I am indeed very busy as I am practicialy self employed, I have children and a family so me running round weighing items and measuring boxes dropping off at a pick up point for the courier is not good for me in fact my time is worth more than what I sold the cc system for!!!! this is the reason I said

COLLECTION ONLY !!!

I have boxed measured and weighed the item for you sent you a pm

I will require a precise time (window) when the driver will collect item

Get off your high horse.

I tried to get it collected and the person who was gonna do it couldn't. If it was so much of a hassle you could have refunded me 3 months ago and saved yourself the problems.

I did say no hurry, and i've been happy to wait cos i know your busy and i have a family myself so i know that gets priority. But all you had to do was reply when you read the pm's saying you were working till whatever date but you chose to read them and not reply most times.

You might not even have to wait in, if there is somewhere you can leave it unseen and pin a note to the front door for the driver. I shouldn't think he'd need to see you at all.

This issue and Nis's issue would have been easily resolved with a quick PM reply. By posting on the forums and by reading and ignoring the PM's you have left yourself open to this criticism and negative feedback. You cannot blame either member for leaving this feedback for you.

I am pleased to report that bri0905 has now received the item he was waiting for.

Hopefully we can draw a line under this issue now.
