Friday night social wise, there are a couple of options:

1. No one commit and we wing it on the day there's at least me, phil and Lauren
2. Nicks Diner in Deopham - burgers and things, fab car themed place, country roads to blast on,but would need to book so need numbers.
3. A.n. Other roadside pub that we can drive to, need help with this!
4. Curry in the city. Suggest Ali Tandoori but again would need numbers as would probably need to book.

Any preferences or suggestions?

Also any suggestions for places after Saturday, do people want a pub lunch/ tea after the day?

Nicks diner is fab, only open evenings, near Norwich so not much of a blast & packed Friday nights.
North Norfolk coast is nice Brancaster, Cley, Blakney, Wells, good pub food and nice quiet roads

Won't be able to attend this now as the buyer is collecting my car on the 1st of August

I was hoping to take the Friday off, but I'm in bloody court on Friday morning. It's a lottery as to how long I'll be there. Best I can hope for is to get away in the early afternoon, though Norfolk is a heinous drive from Manchester, so not sure what time I could get down for Friday evening. Hopefully in time for foodage and all that.

Really, really sorry, but I'm going to have to pull out. I can't get the day off work before as I'm in court (just bad timing really) so makes the drive down not feasible. Also massively overspent for my 40th, so can't justify it.

Ahh, thats a real shame Lauren but thanks for getting the ball rolling early on in the thread and were willing to travel all that way. I'll tear your cheque up.
I can't beleive we had 11 people wanting to come and now we only have 6. Hardly seems worth it now but we'll try and make the best of it.
