Yep agreed

Until you see the results of all this money you've spent on it you won't know if it's a keeper or not.

A supercharged Mk2 V6 will show an Elise a clean pair of heels once over 60mph and the noise will be something else compared to the K series or zz whichever way you look at it.

I've felt same as you, spent a fortune on it and really just want it on the road now. But until I do that I won't make a decision to sell or not.

If you're after a Honda converted Series 1, aren't we talking £15K+ for one of them?

i could of bought an S2 elise with a honda engine, nitrons, exige wheels and sticky tyres, for £11k a few years back

£20k i can slowly build a S1 (exige replica/motorsport bodied) honda powered car

£20K by the time you build it will buy you an nice Noble, an LS engined Ultima or a turbocharged bike engined kit car.

I love throwing ideas out there!!

£20k for an ultima - where? to build a good one of those is £60k (ive looked - and considered it - even on a tight budget its £45k)

id rather have an S1 Exige than a noble anyway, and bike engined kit cars id rather avoid.

you could probably get an old Ultima Sport for £25, but a GTR with an LS engine not

I never stated a GTR and the Sport can come in all sorts of flavours.

20K can buy you a lot more performance and a better experience than an old Elise with a Honda engine in it.

to be honest ive changed my bloody mind so much i doubt anyone would buy them on here even if i did seriously decide to sell them, at least i did learn one thing though - the supercharger will go on ebay if i were ever to sell it, lots of interest in that

all changed .......................... again

this time its for definate, as i have already now sold some parts

would of been nice to have seen what the charger delivers but i know even then it wouldnt of been as quick as the car i have bought to replace the mr2 (and its road ready which to be honest was one of the problems - im not that patient)

so the supercharger is sold as are the whiteline arb's and the turbo engine lid
