adrian flux - disturbing quotation

Post by likeins »

i had a disturbing quotation today from Adrian flux today. i thought it would have been competitive price due to me having had sports and performance cars for the last 7 out of 10 years. unfortunately i was quoted the highest yet at 902.27 gbp. my mr2 isn't even a turbo model.
does anyone else no of other insurance that you have recently purchased well below this price? last year i paid 399.

I always grab the yellow pages, pick out 20 insurance companies and phone each one. Takes ages but it always ends up with me getting cheaper insurance than any of the comparison sites come up with and I almost always get cheaper insurance than the renewal quote if I stay with the same company. Just spend a morning phoning loads up you are bound to beat that on a N/A.

I recently renewed with Cherished Vehicle Insurance. They advertise on the back of PPC magazine. Well impressed with the service, and cheap too.

adrian flux

Adrian flux have had alot of my cars insured over the years including 2 of my current cars.

I rang them for a quote on a high spec scooby as a 3rd car and was quoted over £2k! This is with 6 years no claims, no convictions etc

I have always found them very helpful and competitive in the past, I will however be insuring all my cars elsewhere when my current insurance runs out. I mean over £2k from a specialist insurer when they insured the scooby before this one for £900 with more mods

I found AD to be the cheapest over the years until they tried to screw me over last year.

I was unemployed, with 3 recent points (mobile fone, not speeding) and have a japanese modified car. £888 TPFT! That was disgusting and that was the reason I went with Aviva this year for £387 fully comp.

It didnt cost £888 in the end as I lied and said I was a project manager which was fully backed up by my friend lol
