Someone pointed me in the right direction with no joy. I understand that ecu is sending or not sending the correct signal to p/s. Thanks in advance.(with the ecu on it)? I looked at mine tonight, but as the loom was out of the car, I think the bit you need to unplug is out of my car. It's a black plastic box.

[/img]...... Ryan.G sorted mine, and iirc, the black box in the bottom right of the picture is the offending article. Unplug that and it should sort you out I think.

When I converted to an ST205 ECU I had to disconnect PS to retain power steering.- the only club to win 'Best Club Stand' at JAE more than once, and twice in a row! He just opened the boot, unplugged something and that fixed it.

..- no i haven't got it sorted. Cut three wires and no joy. I don't have the tools to remove the pins properly....
From the middle, skip one and cut. Guessed wrong and did the same the other way. I know this is correct ecu block because when I disconnect it and move the ignition to position 2, I have P/S! Hurray... but obvisily the engine doesn't run for long.
.. is the ECU pinout completely wrong? Where am I going wrong? It's the green and blue, wire with white dots. Sorted. Phew.
