Whatcha think ?

Post by cvega666 »

I like the wheels, but do you think I need spacers for the back ? I've got 5 and 15mm.

If you can't see the angle, you're in trouble.

What size tyres are they on what size rim?

Not sure if it's a trick of the camera, but the rear tyres look quite stretched making it look less flush than it actually is?

If it's not a trick of the camera, definitly get spacers on there.

Don't forget you'll need extended studs for 15mm spacers, and also a pair of hubcentric spacers.

Rear Tyres are 235/40/17's on a 9j rim

being an offset of 43 they do indeed look better with 15mm spacers fitted

wheels look awesome, I didn't trust the local autocentre enough to mess around with the wheel lugs and spacers - the guy didn't realise the wheels were different widths and were designed to go on front/rear in a specific order until i pointed that out  So for this week I can deal with the looks but nothing is rubbing

while i realize that bigger wheels have effect on handling and comfort I must say at the everyday speeds on local roads it hardly will have difference - why so many people drive around on 17 and bigger wheels

why in the rain ? well I asked it to stop, but nada.

...already curbed one. So p**d off at the super high curbs everywhere. I'd imagine this will be a pain to repair. GFDSJHD(*Q)&@YIH#IURKGBHIUY$EGT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also think 235 on a 9 inch rim is way too narrow - I will go 255 next time.

sooo...who knows a company that will repair this ?
