Do you think Rhon could help as he/she (sorry, not sure.Help here please) seems to be a whizz at covering things? I know the dash is'nt leather but it was just a thought as that is their area of expertise and may know of a solution.

Possibly, it's an idea, Bod.

Thing is the dash would need to be stripped back to the base, the refoamed and then vinyl applied. Reckon it could be tricky to do.

One pic from the meet on Saturday:

Alistair is doing a full feature of the car on his website/blog shortly. He did some filming of my driving where I was a little bit naughty, but kept it fairly cautious. Still have a lot to learn about the handling of the car. Roll on Saturday and Angers! :)

No. Not as random as your banter though, when I've actually posted something up about the car.

There are often pretty big meets up at Krispy Kreme, has a massive car park out the back. I went to one before I got the car back in March.

Well, there's a lot happening!

You do realise by replying that you are adding to it?

In other news, Tom is hopefully cracking on with the oil cooler tomorrow, in preparation for Angers on Saturday. Mark, Tom and Neil are also working on the rear parcel shelf as they are making me one for a birthday pressie as well as some other things I don't know about.

Mark is also hoping to get the oil temperature sendor plumbed in and we are awaiting an oil pressure sendor unit for Mark's digital oil temp/pres and water temp display unit.

Will make sure that you don't miss a thing and I'll keep updating. :+:

I haven't really modded the Corolla though! Unless you count getting the paintwork sorted modifying? More of a restoration at this point.

Whilst I've had fun with standard is better and said modding is a mugs game. I admit to being a said 'mug' and have done so on a number of occasions. I think it is a bit of a mugs game if you then sell the car on, because as you well know you don't get the money invested back, but people will do what they will. I intend to keep my car for a very long time, so given it's my dream car, I'm going to make it as I want it. It will take a lot of time and money I guess, but it's a long term thing. Mug or not. :+:

And there was me thinking that Krispy Kreme was a bit posher than Dale's preference of McDonald's.

I've got to be honest though. Having seen those doughnuts being made, I just couldn't eat one.
