Yea if there is someone close that would be good.

Only problem is as it isnt taxed would need to deffo sell my car to then insure it and tax it.

Also its around 100-120 pounds in fuel and 115 in tax straight away.. So would want it at a good price really.

There's a lady looking to sell a UK '96 car here (look for a thread asking for pricing advice) with less than 50k on it... azure blue and totally standard by the looks of it.

Why always look on the negative?

Azure blue is a lovely colour and you could speak to your insurance company and tell them that you're going to look at a car etc. I'm pretty sure they can insure you there and then if you want (ask them).

Yeah im sure they can insure me there and then I have done that before but I would be driving my current car down there, so it wouldnt be possible to drive 2 cars back :P

That would be the only option and probably get my dad or my girlfriend to drive me there so I can drive the mr2 back on my 3rd party comp insurance or insure my dad for a day on it.

This is what I did when i traded my Corsa for my MR2. paid about £60 extra.

Get a train there if possible - book in advance and its probably cheaper than driving anyway.
