Hi All,

My name is Dan from maidstone. Kent.
Just purchased my second MR2 after a couple of years gap.
It is a K reg n/a import purchased from south west london area who was a pistonheads regular but not on here i don't think.

It has been treated to lowered suspsension (unsure of identity will look when i have the wheeels off), mushroom air filter located towards rear vent and an unknown exhaust. I will post pics for help when i am allowed :)

Owned it for a month now and love it, great feel with the lowered suspsension but it is hard on teh back. already had an issue with a misfire after washing but that was rectified once warmed up - need to get me some electrical dampness/water repellent thingy stuff!!

Hi Dan, welcome to IMOC.

I had the same issue with one of my old MR2's when mine was pressure washed, it ran like a bag of spanners until it dried all the water up. Think it gets past the ht leads when the water is under pressure.

I cant find anything to stop it, as mine still happened even with the rain tray fitted.

I am not sure of what Mr2 meets go on around the SE. Someone else might shed some light on that.........
