I haven't got a warranty as such (cash job), so will have to see what I can do. :+:

Man if it's gonna cost another £150 or so :pale:

Thought the colour would have been agreed as opposed to assuming the painter was going to know etc. :-k

Well, I asked him to repair and repaint the bumper. It was satin black when it went to the bodyshop, so you wouldn't expect it to come back gloss black.

Don't think it'll be difficult at all to rectify, no more than a couple of hours work really.

What is ironic is that I got the same guy to do my MK1a and I got him to spray the bumpers satin black!

LOL! Well I didn't, he's made a mistake hasn't he really.

It's no biggie, the bumper actually looks better in gloss black, but it doesn't match the front or side skirts.

Just get the rest sprayed to match the bumper.

I have considered it as it would look really good. It's a bit like the early MK1 in that the cars were sprayed satin black.

Reckon the front would get stone chipped, though I guess it's black underneath.

Need to go on google images I think. :+:

I think it's that 2 tone that makes them look so old. Much like the Sherewood (?) 2 tone MK1.

I'd personally have it sprayed in full in Astral 202 black 8)

I like them in solid colours too. I know what you are saying. But it is dated really and a Panda Trueno is 'the' classic AE86 for some.

Black looks fantastic, but I'd never have another black car as they are a nightmare to keep clean. I'm not sure I'm that much of a GJOBer.

You know, in a way it's really important that it looks completely 'of it's time'. That's the appeal in a lot of ways.

Totally understand and I wasn't saying the solid was nicer than yours, just it was cooler than the one you just posted below it. :D

Each to their own I guess. I (imo  ) think they look loads better in black :D

Trouble is Craig, I've modified quite a few cars and if I'm honest I can't help myself. It's a mug's game as we all know, but obviously as long as you are planning to keep the car it's your money etc. :+:

True, my MR2 isn't worth selling for what I'd get for it!
