I have one fitted,
i like it .........
but i would suggest you also go for the gear shift cable(s) bronze bearing(s) mod in conjunction with the short shifter.
Makes a great difference ,with nice positive gear changes.

I fitted one at the weekend from the same bloke; arrived within a couple of days, easy to fit and no problems with it.

Locate your two gear change cables on the side of the gearbox.
Remove the securing clips, pull off the cables from the spindle they sit on.
Pry out the old rubber bushes, fit the new bronze ones in situ, place the cables on the locating spindles, replace the securing clips..........done
Between 1/2 and 1 hour in total :thumleft:

So the bushes are on the gearbox? Are they accessed from above or below?

Where do i buy the kit from?

Thanks.
