Came across these at japfest. Guess there a custom job? Might be a good thing for "carben fibre creations" to do if not too expensive to produce
I would be interested.

maybe that would be a big down side. I imagine glass is a lot better sound insulator than carbon. Maybe there would be a way of adding a sound insulating padding on the inside.
Wonder how hard it would be to make a set using a carbon fibre laminating kit and a 2nd hand set of roof panels?

they only seem to do Carbon Kevlar or Fibre Glass now.
standard t-tops smashed to get the brackets, bonded by autoglass.
i think Mark Edward's set ended up on the red beast, not sure where my set ended up i think maybe 3S.
Word of warning guys, before buying anything from Chaser read up about them on mr2oc.com I cant say anymore due to legal reasons just please do you research first
As for us doing them we tried in the past but didnt ever get it right, the panels are easy to make but attaching them to the mechanism isnt. The panels come loose, rattle and are a pain so we decided to bin the project and move on.
Not the answer you were looking for but im not in the market for selling bad products.
We didnt we left it up to the people who bought them, didnt sell many but never got good reports back so we decided it wasnt worth the risk.
If your thinking about making them I'd reccomend doing the whole package yourself dont leave anything up to the people who buy them, no offence guys but we have to cover ourselves Might even be worth modding the mechanism to rivit the carbon to it somehow, it'd be more secure that way. Around the edges where it attach's to the car I would put a load of sticky foam strips to stop the panel rattling about and to help secure it in place better but you'd still need to test and see what the best way of doing this is.
I've said it before to people it can be done but its tricky and risky, its one of them products that if you dont get it right and shift lots of them people can get very upset and slander your business name which isnt good. Good luck if your gonna give it a go I know you'll be able to sell loads of them
