My BEAMS -must go, stupid price at £2k!

Post by RST »

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2811039.htm

Folks, owing to the insurance on this expiring a little quicker than I'd have liked and my little run-in with the local wildlife with my new MRS on Monday night my rev 2 has GOT TO GO and got to go QUICK! Ive shut my eyes and no quibbles -£2k drives it away with a few extra spares etc.

I've linked the advert to pistonheads and I had an ad on here late last year so between the 2 and my garage I'm sure you can see what a deal this is.

It's a steal -if I had somewhere to break it for parts I'd be crazy not to!

I have had two comments from reputable sources describe the car as "drives almost like a rev 3 turbo" and "must admit it feels bloody quick for a BEAMS" so for what it is it's a great drive.

Please contact me on:

Car is in Inverness, but I can deliver anywhere in Scotland down to the central belt (i.e. between edinburgh and Glasgow) for the price of fuel which should be £30 providing a 50% deposit has been wired to me.

Thanks and please make contact for any more info.

Cheers,

Richard

Forgot to update my pistonheads add but it's up to date now.

I can help out with getting the car to Glasgow / Edinburgh as I am due down to visit my parents in Falkirk over the weekend. I can't take it any further than that I'm afraid.

BUT I have just found the original stock ECU for the car -I was going to sell it separate, it's worth £300 and they sell for £250 easy so if transport is going to cost I'll include this with the deal rather than sell separately to help soften the blow.

...I can't really be much fairer than that -hence why I've priced it so!

WAY too cheap mate

If I had the balls to own another mk2 I'd have this in a second, my life would not be worth living at home though

Damn tempting...

I'd enjoy it as an NA, spend the cash you would have spent on the turbo set up on cams, induction, etc....turn it into an NA screamer

Think it may have just sold though... :?:

...you're not kiddfing there! The Recaro's cost £600 -I haggled a discount because I bought a pair! Then paid summit like £240 for a set of Bride sub frames ....so you can see what the numbers game is on this for starters before you look at the rest of it. Unfortunately it needs to go.

...na, sorry mate, taken a few calls so far and got confused. Buyer has asked me to hold it for him -friend of a good acquaintance apparently so it's gone. Just got logistics to sort out.

After a phone call tonight it looks like I might have a good MK3 to start up from also -maybe I can salvage the small parts off the other one if I get my little brother to get the the parts off it when it does go for scrap.
