glimited rear tca's Q

Post by gltd666 »

We have a '92 n/a glimited (rev2 we think) that needs new rear tca's. These seem difficult to find so... can we fit any rear tca's from a mk2?

Help much appreciated as if we cannot find some sensible priced tca's then we are scrapping a nice MR2 which is a shame.

Toyota's quoting big money for rear tca's and it wasn't an expensive car. (thanks for your 'useful' post though - really helped  ).

I'm sure you can fit any thing from Rev2 onwards, it was only Rev1 that differed.

Some one may point out I know nothing.

Theres some on the bay from what I remember.

All sorted.

Am not going to apologise for the 'useful post' remark. At that point after being quoted £200 EACH from Toyota our MR2 was going to be scrapped. So a little more help than just a glib reply would have been better and may have helped save an MR2.

However, i managed to locate a very helpful spares breaker who provided us with 2 really good condition ones for £60 all in. Not bad.

...as for the 3rd post remark - cheap shot - surely this should be the 1st point of contact for help with an MR2? I think you'll find thats the best way of getting (and keeping) more members.

but thanks to the members who did help out. :D
