will a rev 1 n/a gearbox fit a rev 2 tubby engine

So you're telling me if you went to buy a turbo car and owner said "oh its fitted with a n/a gearbox" you would still buy it? LOL

It's just a botch job if you ask me.

Can you fit one yes. Would I? Not a chance. I like to do my jobs properly.

if it was an engine conversation yes I would, if it was a turbo car I would ask why it was fitted with a NA box and not the stock tubby one. But this is is a engine converstion

Surely if stock boxes were only designed for stock power then those folks who mod their turbo would have to.change to q better box? Just my observation...

Speed in gears @7000 rpm seems to confirm that Tubbys are shorter (at least till the 4th)

final geaaring declared are much longer for NA (4,1 or 3,9 against 4,3) but the figure for the turbo speed dont make any sense to me.
