Can you fit one yes. Would I? Not a chance. I like to do my jobs properly.
if it was an engine conversation yes I would, if it was a turbo car I would ask why it was fitted with a NA box and not the stock tubby one. But this is is a engine converstion

Surely if stock boxes were only designed for stock power then those folks who mod their turbo would have to.change to q better box? Just my observation...

Speed in gears @7000 rpm seems to confirm that Tubbys are shorter (at least till the 4th)

Tubby
1 35mph
2 60
3 91
4 125


NA
1 40mph
2 67
3 98
4 122

PS:
final geaaring declared are much longer for NA (4,1 or 3,9 against 4,3) but the figure for the turbo speed dont make any sense to me.
