MK2 v6 - £2250

Post by foxy-stoat »

This is a sad day for me, have to sell my v6 due to new mk3 project and buying our first house in the next couple of weeks:

J reg rev2 - t-bar (a few drops when it rains hard, just to save you asking!)
Steering fogs
Rev 3 rear lights with proper centre panel
CAT 1 alarm with certificate
Short shift
Sony cd player
Infinity 6x9's behind the seats with infinity seperates in the doors and in original tweeter plastics, which have split a little.
110K miles on the clock, converted by Woodsport about 4-5 years ago. The V5 has been changed to show correct engine size etc.
I replaced the rear cam cover.
Has an oil catch can fitted with some nice blue hoses
New Mr T HT leads
New spark plugs
The heads where ported, have the flow sheets and pics.
Mongoose backbox on standard camry down pipes but soon to re-make them for a better flow.
New front top mounts
New front inserts, painted the struts yellow
Front and rear suspension arms have been poly bushed and painted silver
New drop links all round
New ball joints all round
Tyres are Yokohamas all round with good tread
Half leather seats

Pulls very well and sounds excellant. Drives well for a car thats nearly 20 years old!

Paint work looks good, but dont assume there are no scratches or dents.

Wont be selling until after Japfest (14th May 2011), as I cant go in my MK3 at the moment!

Just put 6 months tax and will have 12 months mot next week.

Any questions from folk seriously interested in buying this, ask away.

Pics, here are the pics:

Exactly what I want for the mrs. Looks spot on and well priced.

About 6months too early though as we're just buying a house together.

Good luck with the sale.

Yeah, everything APART from the acutal place your buying !!!

Well, getting the rocker cover gasket sorted as its leaking a fair bit now, also planning on re-doing the down pipes for a better flow as one of the flexi pipes is now blowing.

More jobs to do!

Nice looking car Wayne, and as I miss my v6 and I'm selling the na I did feel a twinge ... :) A great buy for someone as last time I looked Paul charges £2.5k for the conversion.

Cheers Marc, think I'll feel the same when/if it goes but at the moment the money is better spent on the house than a car.

You still have the Lotus?

I hope to have the Elise for some time, as long as I don't have an argument with armco at some stage (I span at Goodwood a few weeks ago). I was going to sell the na and get a sensible car, but life is too short! :)

Will be sorning this at the end of the month due to new stoopid insurance laws.

Still for sale for £2250 or close offers, no tax and SORN'D from end of June so cannot do test drives.
