[Mk2] [Generic] Fitting cusco rear brace

Post by Ben Varnals »

Just ordered a cusco rear brace and was wondering how easy they are to fit? Do I just undo the bolts and pop it on? Also getting my wheel alignment done tomorrow is fitting this brace at a later date gonna undo any of the alignment?

If it's the straight across type brace it's just a matter of removing 2 nuts from each strut top, popping the brace over the studs that the nuts come off of, then tightening the nuts back up.

It shouldn't have any effect on the geometry if you do it with the car on the ground.
